Watershed Rules

The Cormorant Lakes Watershed District has requirements to issue and monitor permits to ensure land alteration activities within the District meet certain requirements to preserve and ensure water resources. CLWD's Managers work with the property owners and local government units to maintain water resources.

Please contact a Manager for more questions or concerns regarding the permitting process. Proceeding on work within the District without a permit can result in assessment fees, attorney costs, and possible legal actions.
